manufactured by Apple and then converted and certified according to ATEX and IECEx standards. This certification ensures that the tablets can be safely used in gas/vapor Zone 2 hazardous environments, which is equivalent to the US NEC Class 1 Division 2 equipment (C1D2).

Our intrinsically safe iPad cases involve casing modification and integration of a specialized electrical circuit, ensuring ATEX/EX compliance. This enables secure usage in hazardous environments, retaining most of the original product’s features.
