Through the implementation of an explosion proof iPad case, which involves casing modification and integration of an intrinsically safe electrical circuit, these tablets are rendered fully compliant with ATEX/EX regulations. This guarantees their suitability for secure usage in hazardous locations. All the original product features are retained, except the ability to safely use the fingerprint scanner even in hazardous environments.
